John Wetten Brown Artist creates his pieces in his studio in Glasgow’s West End, with all his work being available to customers across the UK.
He specialises in painting and drawing Scotland’s finest landscapes and architecture, with each piece being created to reflect his personal style and each being truly unique to the buyer.
John Wetten Brown studied architecture, specialising in listed building restoration work where he worked on several ruined Scottish castles and tower houses.
His work took him right across Scotland which presented the opportunity and inspiration to paint some of the country’s most scenic locations, including work on Glasgow’s West End, Edinburgh’s Old and New Towns and the rich heritage of ancient fishing villages and wild mountain countryside.
From his studio in the West End of Glasgow, John's style of art is bright, lively and its perspective look makes his style highly individual to him.
John had his first solo exhibition in 2001 in Glasgow which almost sold out in the first week, with his work now displayed across Scotland and part of private art collections in the USA, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, and the UK.
